Dr. Jeff Iskra - Senior Pastor

Jeff was born and raised in Ft. Myers, FL and has been married to Charlene since they met in Tallahassee, 32 years ago.

He has earned a bachelor's degree from Florida State University, a Master's degree from Southwestern Baptist Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX and a doctorate degree from Gordon-Conwell Seminary in Hamilton, MA.

He has served on staff at churches in FL, TX, AL, & GA and has served at CBTS since 2017.

Jonny Grubbs - Associate Pastor/Administrator

Jonny’s full-time ministry journey began nine years ago when he joined Operation Mobilization Ireland. He was a lead creator on two Gospel television programs for children on RTE 1 Irish National Television. It was in Ireland he met his now-wife who came from her home country in Brazil to serve with OM on a short-term basis.

After returning to the states Jonny received a call to interview for the position of Christian Education with the Youth.

He now serves as the Administrator.

Jonny holds a Bachelor of Ministry and an M.Min in Religious Education from West Coast Bible College & Seminary.

He is married to Suellen and they are the parents of Zoe.

Connor Grubbs - Worship / Youth Director

Connor began his ministry work serving in local non-profits like Child Evangelism Fellowship, First Priority and InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. He is also the founder of The Worship Collective.

Connor answered the call to transition from para-church work to serving full time in the local church at Church by the Sea in 2022. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Church Ministry and a Master’s in Worship Ministry from West Coast Bible College and Seminary.

Him and his wife Moriah have been married since 2020 and are both passionate about seeing others come into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Lisa Greeno - Children’s Ministry Director

Lisa has been serving the children and families of Church by the Sea on staff for 7 years, and served as a lay person here for over a decade more before that.

She has a great passion to see kids grow in their faith. 

Hard-working, fun-loving, and ready to come alongside parents in the spiritual formation of their kids Lisa is a Kidmin powerhouse.

Lisa has a Diploma in Children’s Ministry from Kid Ministry Academy and is currently getting her Master’s Degree in Family Ministry from South Eastern University.

She is married to Howard Greeno and they are the parents of Hope and Howie and have 4 grandbabies, Kelsey, Delilah, Juliet and Noah.

Suellen Grubbs - Nursery Coordinator

Suellen always wanted to be in full-time ministry.

While working as an architectural appraiser in her home country of Brazil she would spend her extra money to go on mission trips to Uganda, Ecuador, Haiti, the Amazon & Ireland where she met her now-husband. 

Suellen started at the church serving as a volunteer in the youth ministry alongside her husband, but was soon offered the job of Nursery Coordinator on staff.

Suellen loves to plant the seeds of faith early in the life of children and care for them on Sunday mornings.

She is married to Pastor Jonny and they are the parents of Zoe.
