You probably have an opinion about Jesus. Maybe you think He was a good teacher, moral activist, or a prophet. Whatever you believe, we can probably agree that Jesus changed things
We believe He wants to change you too - that's what He does! When Jesus died on the cross for the sin of the world and came back to life, He changed the way for us to have a relationship with God the Father.
Jesus himself said:
I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. - John 14:6
Trusting Jesus as the way to God is not an exclusive path to God; it’s completely inclusive. No matter who you are, what you’ve done, where you were born, or what your identity is, Jesus is the way for you to have a relationship with God. Everybody is invited... Everybody is included... & Everybody matters!
And this includes YOU! Jesus loves you - seriously - YOU!
So how should you respond to Jesus' love?
Look what Scripture says…
“If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
That’s it - confess with your mouth & truly embrace with your heart that Jesus is Lord (the Boss of your life) and that God the Father raised him from the dead, and all of your sin is forgiven and your relationship with God has begun!
But you might thinking, “Don’t I have to be a better person first?”
Nope. You don’t change in order to gain God’s love, you change because you’ve experienced his love.
When you trust Jesus as your Savior, He changes your heart & soul. Gradually, over time, you'll discover you want to do the things that God wants for you to do... this is what it means to follow Jesus. You change because you’re loved by God, not in order to be loved by God.
Through His death on the cross, and then coming back from the dead, Jesus took all of your wrong and gave you all of His right.
If you choose to embrace Jesus as your Savior & Leader, your life will never be the same. Simply tell God that you no longer want to be controlled by selfishness (or anything else), that you surrender your life to Jesus, & that you want to follow Him.

HOW DO I GROW IN MY RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD?
Begin praying everyday. Praying is simply talking to God. You don't have to memorize any prayers or say certain phrases. Just talk to God.
But prayer really comes alive when you pair it with reading your Bible.
You can’t have a close relationship with someone you never talk to. It’s impossible. God’s word—the Bible—is the primary way He speaks to us. And it’s the absolute best way to discover how to follow Jesus on a daily basis. If you want to know more about God and His promises, reading the Bible is your next step.
