Baptism Information
Many families consider having their child baptized at Church by the Sea. We perform baptisms the second Sunday every month except the month of Easter and December. The Holy Sacrament of Baptism is a very important event in the life of the Church and a family. In an effort to help people understand the importance of baptism we require the following two (2) commitments.
Attend a Baptism Preparation Class and attend the Baptism Worship Service the second Sunday of the month prior to the month the child is baptized.
In preparation for the class, parents will receive a booklet called "Seven Questions and Answers About Baptism" to help them understand more about the Holy Sacrament of Baptism.
Pastor will use this booklet as an outline for the class. The child's actual baptism date will be confirmed during this class. We offer nursery care, for infants to age three, during our worship service.
